
The European Union is considering deploying between 25,000 and 30,000 troops to Ukraine as part of a potential ceasefire agreement in the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Reports indicate that Europeans are exploring the possibility of dispatching large-scale peacekeeping forces to Ukraine, numbering between 25,000 to 30,000 troops, which would be positioned outside of the demarcation line, but prepared to demonstrate their capabilities in case Russian forces attempt to revive the conflict.
These troops will receive additional support from even larger forces located outside of Ukraine if necessary to augment their numbers and facilitate a swift advance.
These discussions, which involved at least a dozen countries, including Poland, the Netherlands, Germany, the Nordic countries, and the Baltic states.
