The Referee Clinic, led by former NBA G League referee Greg Dandridge, provided officials with a unique chance to improve their skills. A youth and coaches clinic, conducted by Scott Flemming, Head Coach of the India men's national basketball team, added to the program's richness.
The program was held in association with the Basketball Federation of India (BFI) with Skechers, the global performance and lifestyle footwear and apparel brand, serving as the official apparel partner, providing high-quality gear for the participants.
This year's 3v3 National League Finals represents the culmination of regional tournaments held in six Indian cities: Mumbai, Chennai, Aizawl, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, and Ludhiana. Now in its 11th year, the program featured participation from approximately 4000 students from around 500 schools across India.
The program is a part of the NBA's larger basketball development initiatives in India, which involve partnerships with local businesses and federations, including the NBA Basketball School, a network of tuition-based basketball development programs available to male and female players aged 6-18, and Basketball Without Borders Asia, the global basketball development and community outreach program run jointly by the NBA and FIBA, which has been held in India twice.
