Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, has been ranked as the number one destination for Facebook check-ins and TripAdvisor reviews in the 2025 Asia-Pacific Best Cities report, compiled by the global business consulting firm Resonance.
The report evaluated 140 cities in the region based on three major criteria: livability, lovable character, and economic prosperity, using data from a survey of 7,000 respondents in the Asia-Pacific area.
TripAdvisor features over two million reviews of Bangkok's hotels, attractions, and restaurants, showcasing its immense appeal to travelers.
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is famous for its impressive Buddhist temples with striking architecture, drawing numerous visitors who frequently pose for photographs while dressed in traditional Thai attire.
Bangkok overall ranked sixth in the region's cities.
Last year, research firm Euromonitor International declared Bangkok the world's leading tourist destination, attracting a record-breaking 32.4 million visitors.
