A plane cut the tail of a Delta Air Lines aircraft at Seattle Airport on Wednesday morning.
At 10:17 a.m. Pacific Time, a Japan Airlines plane encountered a Japan Airlines plane at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), colliding with the tail of a Delta Air Lines plane.
The airport reported that the incident happened on a taxi route between S Concourse and the south airport maintenance facilities.
No injuries were reported and airport operations were minimally affected. Social media posts display the Japan Airlines wing intersecting with the Delta tail.
"We were sitting on the tarmac at Seattle's Sea-Tac Airport and another plane collided with us, just casually hitting our tail section. It was a very frightening moment," the witness stated on Twitter.

'Sorry to inform that no passengers or crew members were injured during the flight. We regret the inconvenience and disruption this caused to travel plans.'
The company stated that they are making efforts to have passengers travel on a new aircraft.
