French metaverse platform Sandbox acquires Timișoara-based IT company

The Sandbox, a metaverse platform originating from France, has entered the Romanian market by acquiring QED, a software development solutions provider based in Timișoara.

QED, founded by Ioana Verebi, Vlad Temian, and Marius Bălaj, has collaborated closely with The Sandbox as an external partner for more than two years. The company possesses expertise in software development, blockchain integration, and scalable design.

QED began in 2019 as a software consulting firm, but it eventually transformed into a software development company.
