Saturday Lotto X results: Aussie comes forward to claim prize

1 min read

A South Australian man has come forward to claim a $3.3 million Saturday Lotto X prize, stating he purchased the ticket on a whim after experiencing a 'lucky feeling' that day.

He was one of six Division One winners in Saturday's draw, each receiving $3,333,333.34.

The man from Yorketown said he was feeling lucky on Saturday, and since there was a newsagency across the road, he thought it would be a good idea to buy a ticket.

I stayed awake all Saturday night, repeatedly checking the ticket to confirm it wasn't just a dream.

He announced that he intends to buy his own house using the prize money.

'This will also enable me to accelerate my retirement plans – I'll have the opportunity to gradually step back.'

No one has stepped forward to claim their award yet.

Colonna's Newsagency manager Vanessa Griffin stated that they are looking forward to reuniting their mystery winner with their prize.

The Lott spokesman, Matt Hart, is advising Australians to register their lottery tickets so they can be promptly notified if they win.

'The lucky winner, possibly unaware, has actually won over $3.3 million in the Saturday Lotto draw held at the weekend.'

'Everyone who bought a Saturday X Lotto ticket from Colonnades Newsagency is advised to verify their tickets immediately.'

The winning numbers in the Saturday X Lotto draw were 18, 41, 8, 19, 31, and 43, with the supplementary numbers being 9 and 11.

Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in the Saturday X Lotto draw 4547 - two in each of Victoria and South Australia, and one each in Queensland and New South Wales.
