
The parlance center officially opened on Saturday at the counting area.
Extra security measures have been implemented outside the counting centre. Officials from different security forces have been stationed there to guarantee the security and smooth process of counting the votes.
According to data from the Election Commission of India, the approximate voter turnout was 67.97%.

Voting at 237 polling stations got underway at 7 AM and wrapped up at 6 PM across 53 locations. Voter turnout stood at 10.95% at 9 am, 26.03% by 11 am, 42.41% by 1 pm, 53.63% by 3 pm, and 64.02% by 5 pm.
There were 46 candidates in the running, including MK Seethalakshmi from the NTK and VC Chandhirakumar from the DMK. In total, 2,27,546 people were eligible to vote, made up of 1,10,128 men, 1,17,381 women, and 37 individuals in the transgender community.Accordinq to Raja Gopal Sunkara, the District Election Officer and Collector, voters can use any of the 12 listed documents to verify their identity when casting their ballots if they are unable to produce an Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC).
Counting for elections is taking place in Uttar Pradesh's Milkipur constituency and also in Delhi Assembly.
Meanwhile, as the counting starts for the Delhi assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from the New Delhi assembly constituency, Parvesh Verma on Saturday stated that it's an important day for Delhi, and wished for the formation of a BJP government in the national capital.
The Bharatiya Janata Party is currently in the lead on two seats in the Delhi Assembly election results, as per initial updates from the Election Commission of India.
