The electric vehicle revolution in the consumer market seems uncertain at times. Nevertheless, the transition to electrification appears to be progressing steadily in the realm of fleet and commercial vehicles. Companies operating fleets recognize the financial and maintenance advantages of adopting electric vehicles. As a result, numerous brands are introducing a wide range of electrified commercial vans and trucks worldwide. The Ram ProMaster’s electric variant was launched last year, but for 2025, the brand has made significant updates to the model line to make it more attractive to potential buyers.
The new model has matched the rival van in terms of payload, price, and range. For 2025, there has been a substantial price decrease. The starting price of this step van is now $71,990, down from $79,990 of the previous year's model. Both prices include a $1,995 destination charge.
The prices get even lower still with the introduction of the 12-foot and 13-foot cargo van body styles. The least expensive 12-footer begins at $58,490, including the $1,995 destination charge. Additionally, with the more conventional van shape and the weight reduction due to the removal of the step van's equipment, this variant now has a range of 180 miles, up from the 164 miles of the other body style.
The price remains at $63,545.
It matches its specs for a much lower price. It could easily be an alternative option for corporate buyers who aren't necessarily willing to pay up for Rivian's van but want the utility afforded to them by the sliding door on the passenger side of the car.
The 2025 Ram ProMaster EV will be available at dealerships in the spring, and customers can start placing orders now.
