The recipe of
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs,
- 80 ml full-fat milk,
- Ground cinnamon,
- Zest of lemon,
- Porto wine syrup (optional),
- Slices of brioche,
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Steps of the recipe:
- Warm the milk, brown sugar, lemon zest, and cinnamon over low heat for approximately 10 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool, then add the Porto wine syrup (if desired).
- Cut the brioche into slices approximately two centimeters thick. Submerge the brioche slices in the mixture. After the first side is thoroughly saturated, flip the slices over.
- Crack two eggs into a bowl and mix them thoroughly. Soak each slice of brioche into the beaten eggs.
- Add some vegetable oil to a pan. Cook the brioche slices on both sides, then place them on paper towels to absorb the excess oil.
