
Chennai, India, Tamil Nadu, February 4 (ANI): Indian cricketer GKamalini, who was part of this year's ICC U-19 Women's T20 World Cup winning team, expressed her joy at winning the tournament and stated that her next goal is to perform well in the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) in order to secure a spot in the senior national team.
Kamalini was a notable player for India in the tournament, boasting a total of 143 runs in seven matches with an average of 35.75, while her outstanding performance in the semifinals reached a high of 56 not out, with two impressive half-centuries.

Speaking to ANI, Kamalini explained, "It was amazing (to have won the World Cup). We were looking forward to this opportunity. I'm speechless. It was incredible to be part of the finals."
She also stated that she is nothing without her parents. "Because of them I am here, a member of the Indian team," she also mentioned.
Kamalini also stated that during the semifinals, when Gongadi Trisha was dismissed for 35 in the run chase of 114 against England, she was asked to finish the game and she returned back to the pavilion after hitting an unbeaten 56.
Regarding her future ambitions, Kamalini commented, "I aspire to excel in the WPL and secure a place on India's senior team."
