For the second year in a row, Vietnam has maintained its position as the preferred travel destination for South Korean families with children under the age of 10, as reported by Hana Tour, the country's largest travel agency.
According to January's booking patterns and the demand for international travel during the winter season, Vietnam took the lead with 26.6% of all overseas family bookings.
Japan ranked second with 18.6%, followed closely by the Philippines with 13.7%, Guam with 8.5%, and then China with 6.4%.
Last year, Vietnam also ranked first with 24.4%, surpassing Japan's 18.8%.
The analysis emphasizes that the Southeast Asian country's year-round warm climate is a major factor in its popularity, especially during the winter months. Additionally, its diverse array of water activities, amusement parks, and other attractions make it a welcoming destination for families.
At present, Hana Tour Company is providing special offers for families with children, featuring appealing discounts for Vietnam's most popular tourist spots, including Phu Quoc and Nha Trang.
A company representative observed that the nation's increasing appeal to families can be attributed to its unique blend of high-end resorts and captivating theme parks.
