English Football Association has revoked the red card that was earlier given to Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skeel.
The red card given to Lewis Skelly by Michael Oliver sparked widespread criticism from the club's supporters.
Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly will not serve a three-match suspension after the Football Association upheld his appeal against wrongful dismissal.
The teenager was sent off by Michael Oliver on Saturday during Arsenal's game against Wolverhampton, dismissed for a harsh challenge on Matt Doherty.
The incident occurred deep within the Wolves' territory, with many spectators believing it was deserving of a yellow card. Oliver displayed a red card without any hesitation, and the VAR team concurred with the on-field official's decision.
The FA has officially announced its decision to retract the red card issued after Arsenal lodged an appeal.
An independent government agency has confirmed that Myles Lewis-Skelly was unfairly let go by his team. The decision revokes his three-match sentence for participating in a serious penalty-filled incident during Arsenal's Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, 25 January 2025.
He will now be available for this weekend's match against Manchester City.
