
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 29 (ANI): The fixtures for the semi-finals of the ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 have been finalized with the defending champions India set to play against England on Friday.
South Africa will face Australia in the first semi-final on Friday. This was revealed by the ICC after they announced the dates, times and venues for the knockout stages of the tournament.
Both matches will take place at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur, with the first semi-final between South Africa and Australia starting at 10:30 AM local time and the second semi-final between India and England starting four hours later at 2:30 PM local time, as per the International Cricket Council's schedule.
The winners of the semi-finals will meet in the final at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, February 2, at 2:30 PM local time.
India and South Africa secured the top spots in their respective groups. India swept all four matches in Group 1, earning a full eight points. In contrast, South Africa won three games and had one match declared no result, resulting in seven points.
Australia finished second in Group 1 with three victories and one defeat, totaling six points. England ended at number two, with two wins and two draws, also totaling six points.
The player who has scored the most runs in the tournament is GV Trisha, with 230 runs in 5 matches at an average of 76.66, boasting a strike rate of 155.40, and achieving one century with a highest score of 110.
The top wicket-taker is also from India, with spinner Vaishnavi Sharma having taken 12 wickets in four matches at an average of 2.33, with best figures of 5/5.
