The return to Madrid will also showcase the social impact of the 2024 Awards, in collaboration with the Community and City of Madrid, which will benefit young people not only in the city but also across the wider region.
Across 2024, we had the privilege to witness outstanding athletic performances from the NBA to F1, from the Tour de France to the NFL. And the pinnacle of international sporting events truly shone: the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games showcased a galaxy of champions across the track, pool, gymnasium, and beyond.
The Sport for Good Award acknowledges individuals or organizations that make a notable impact on children's and young people's lives through sports. The contenders shortlisted for this award will be announced along with other nominees in March.

We will be staging the World Sports Awards in Madrid for the second year in a row. We will have the world's top Formula 1 racing circuit, we'll host an NFL game for the first time, and we'll once again host the FIFA World Cup. Hopefully, we'll finally make it happen and become the host city for the Olympic Games.
