This investment marks the second facility for the group on the local market, which has a total of 25 factories in various markets, spanning from France and Germany to Hungary and Poland.
United Petfood already has a factory in Romania, in Buftea, where it produces dry food. It entered the local market in 2018, through the acquisition of Nordic Petfood, which was the largest Romanian pet food manufacturer at the time.
