Grace Sidi, who achieved the historic feat of being the first girl from her county to attain an A grade in the national examination, paid a visit to her primary school.
Sidi, who scored 83 points, earning six As, one A minus and one B plus, was not alone during her visit to Bandacho Primary School.
Where did Sidi take her 2024 KCSE examination?
She was accompanied by her father, mother, and several former classmates to express her gratitude for the institution's significant impact on their academic development.
"I visited this school in 2019, 2020, and 2021. I was part of Class Seven when I joined Bandacho under unfortunate circumstances. Life at Bandacho was somewhat difficult back then, but I owe my luck to God, as I managed to overcome the challenges. I scored 389 marks in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination and was lucky enough to join Bahari Secondary School.
I would like to extend my gratitude to all my teachers in Bandacho, for their tireless efforts which enabled me to successfully pass my KCSE examination," she said.
The teenage girl mentioned that she started attending the school when she was a young child because she valued the educational lessons they provided.

She greatly thanked her teachers for their guidance and for teaching her valuable lessons on discipline and the importance of hard work.
"The teachings I received here in Bandacho really helped me cope with life in Bahari. Today I want to express my gratitude because if I hadn't been in Bandacho, I don't think I would be where I am now. I'd love to pursue a medicine course and become a doctor," Sidi said.
She, an 18-year-old, motivated her fellow students, assuring them that they were at the ideal school and in the best possible learning environment for achieving success.
